Subscription Thoughts
There was a time back in the dark ages of the late 90s when porn site subscriptions were not that great. You see, there were only a handful of people running the sites and there were very few rules. There is even a legend of a site that was possible to join, but impossible to quit. You would try and try, but the "unsubscribe" process would always fail and you would always get charged again on your next month's credit card statement. I call this a legend, but it is true. But site will remain nameless in this post to protect the guilty.
Then free sites where you could get lots of samples of pictures without having to pay anything at all started to pop up all over. In some cases, these free sites offered more content than the so-called "premium" sites that required a credit card for access.
This has caused paysite operators to significantly clean up their acts. These days, a subscription typically gives you access to a huge world of content, often with much or all of it being exclusive to the site that you joined.
The game being played today is that often the trial subscriptions give only limited access to content. The site owners want a full months subscription fee before they will let you have everything. I understand why they do this. They (normally) give good value for a monthly subscription price, but the content for the price of only a trial subscription is crazy. Sometimes the trials are only a dollar. What do you expect for a dollar?
I personally feel that $39.95 is at the top end of what I find a fair price for a monthly subscription. I still recommend sites that are at that price point, but I prefer the price to be in the area of $25. There are plenty of great sites for that monthly price. Somehow, when it is less than a buck a day, that really appeals to Rover.
Don't we live in a great world. You can get virtually unlimited porn streamed right on your computer for less then the price of coffee or parking. I love technology!
