Posts getting too long

I've noticed that some of my posts are getting too long. I haven't had any complaints from readers, but they might be dozing off mid-post and waking up with keyboard face, not to mention a keyboard full of drool. Not a pretty picture.

Sometimes I do have a lot to say on one topic, so it is tough to keep it short. What I'll try to do is break up the posts into smaller chunks. For example, I needed to post quite a bit of info on bisexual sites today. I split that into 2 posts. Now each post was still quite large, so perhaps that could have actually been four posts. I don't know what the optimal size is. I doubt that a figure exists. Perhaps we should put a team of scientists on the matter and see if they can come up with some recommendations for a post length that will make readers happy. Now this post is getting long. I'm going to stop typing right......now.
